The moment you think your doing a great job, your client comes back and tells you different. I have many difficult mortgage cases with more than 50 deals on my desk and this one is no different. My client only has pension income he wants to refinance and qualify for an interest rate under 3%. His instructions/demands are clear, he only wants to go with an Institutional Lender. He has refused any offers I have given him over 4% in interest. His wife is very sick, she’s terminally ill and he has said he is counting on me . The lending ratios are well over 60%, this is when frustration sets in and its never an easy conversation for either of us. I will be offering him a reverse mortgage on Monday......
